What a tragedy if we lose this old gem. Vancouver city councils, historically haven't given a rats ass about saving our historical buildings. Instead with have countless glass boxes all over the city. People say why bother, it's a cesspool in that area. I went to Times Square in the late 80's and it was a dump, full of peep shows and shady characters. Look it now? Nicely said, I’ve lived here all my life and didn’t even know about the Pantages.
